So, when doing your first review the day after you get excited about this site, Don't be afraid to use the Hints, especially at the beginning of the verse to trigger your memory about what the verse is. If that doesn't work, hit the menu icon just above the verse and tell it to reset your progress for this verse. Yeah it will take it out of your review and start you over, but it can be helpful if you find out that you added too many new verses on the first day. :D
