Well.. we like to sing to. We usually eat French toast, then open presents, and then go play in the snow!!!

But since we have Church on Sunday we are going to go to church, and then come home and open presents.

Our family is getting together on Christmas Eve. My boyfriend may be in town too so that will be nice, I don't get to see him nearly enough. What about you, DogLover? What's your favorite Christmas tradition? Mine is singing :)

look up the story behind the other translations. look up the codexes behind them and the history of the codexes. However, what I mean by I think they are sad, is I don't think they have quite the same level of accuracy or even the same feel. If you like the ESV, go for it. If NKJV is what floats your boat, good for you. I'm just saying that for me, personally, KJV is the only one that I like.

Carla_Bryant, My dad used to say that the best translation is the one you read. I totally get that you read, use, and enjoy the KJV, but I don't understand how or why you would think that all other versions are sad. I'm reading the same Gospel over here in the ESV.
