Description

Humility is a quality which is often spoken about, but it is also one of the most misunderstood and misapplied... Some think of humility as being a weakness and others pretend to have it when they not humble at all, but nevertheless The Bible tells us humility is important; it is one of the qualities of a Biblical leader. According to scripture, God hates the proud; which is the humble person's antagonist. The Bible also says that God won't listen to us or be likely to help us if we refuse to humble ourselves before him, because the practice of humility is a sign of respect and honor. We ought to be humble before our God whether we're in trouble or in prosperity! And finally, if we live our life with humility before God and our fellow man, we will be far less likely to get into trouble.

"Humility is the foundation of all the other virtues hence, in the soul in which this virtue does not exist there cannot be any other virtue except in mere appearance." Saint Augustine.
