Description

Some verses about being beautiful.

Verses

  • Proverbs 11:22: Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who rejects discretion.

  • Matthew 6:28-29: Why do you worry about clothing? Think about how the flowers of the field grow; they do not work or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these!

  • Proverbs 31:30: Charm is deceitful and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the LORD will be praised.

  • 1 Peter 3:3-4: Let your beauty not be external - the braiding of hair and wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes - but the inner person of the heart, the lasting beauty of a gentle and tranquil spirit, which is precious in God's sight.

  • Psalm 27:4: I have asked the LORD for one thing - this is what I desire! I want to live in the LORD's house all the days of my life, so I can gaze at the splendor of the LORD and contemplate in his temple.
