Verses

  • 1 Corinthians 6:13: "Food is for the stomach and the stomach is for food, but God will do away with both." The body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.

  • 1 Corinthians 10:13: No trial has overtaken you that is not faced by others. And God is faithful: He will not let you be tried beyond what you are able to bear, but with the trial will also provide a way out so that you may be able to endure it.

  • 1 Corinthians 7:1: Now with regard to the issues you wrote about: "It is good for a man not to have sexual relations with a woman."

  • 1 Corinthians 7:8: To the unmarried and widows I say that it is best for them to remain as I am.

  • Revelation 14:4: These are the ones who have not defiled themselves with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from humanity as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,

  • 1 Thessalonians 4:3: For this is God's will: that you become holy, that you keep away from sexual immorality,

  • 1 Corinthians 6:15: Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Should I take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never!

  • Proverbs 31:10: Who can find a wife of noble character? For her value is far more than rubies.

  • 1 Peter 2:9: But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

  • James 1:12: Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has proven to be genuine, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.

  • Hebrews 2:18: For since he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are tempted.

  • Hebrews 4:15: For we do not have a high priest incapable of sympathizing with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way just as we are, yet without sin.

  • Hebrews 4:16: Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.
