Verses

  • Ezra 9:4: Everyone who held the words of the God of Israel in awe gathered around me because of the unfaithful acts of the people of the exile. Devastated, I continued to sit there until the evening offering.

  • Isaiah 66:2: My hand made them; that is how they came to be," says the LORD. I show special favor to the humble and contrite, who respect what I have to say.

  • Isaiah 66:5: Hear the word of the LORD, you who respect what he has to say! Your countrymen, who hate you and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of my name, say, "May the LORD be glorified, then we will witness your joy." But they will be put to shame.

  • 1 Timothy 3:16: And we all agree, our religion contains amazing revelation: He was revealed in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among Gentiles, believed on in the world, taken up in glory.

  • Matthew 1:23: "Look! The virgin will conceive and bear a son, and they will call him Emmanuel," which means "God with us."

  • Isaiah 9:6: For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

  • John 5:23: so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

  • Matthew 8:29: They cried out, "Son of God, leave us alone! Have you come here to torment us before the time?"

  • Matthew 14:33: Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God."

  • Matthew 16:16-17: Simon Peter answered, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "You are blessed, Simon son of Jonah, because flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven!

  • Matthew 27:54: Now when the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and what took place, they were extremely terrified and said, "Truly this one was God's Son!"

  • Mark 1:1: The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

  • Luke 1:30-33: So the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God! Listen: You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High, and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David. He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom will never end."

  • Luke 4:41: Demons also came out of many, crying out, "You are the Son of God!" But he rebuked them, and would not allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.

  • John 1:34: I have both seen and testified that this man is the Chosen One of God."

  • John 5:25: I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming - and is now here - when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

  • John 6:29: Jesus replied, "This is the deed God requires - to believe in the one whom he sent."

  • Hebrews 10:29: How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?

  • 2 Peter 1:17: For he received honor and glory from God the Father, when that voice was conveyed to him by the Majestic Glory: "This is my dear Son, in whom I am delighted."

  • 1 John 3:8: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed: to destroy the works of the devil.

  • 1 John 4:9: By this the love of God is revealed in us: that God has sent his one and only Son into the world so that we may live through him.

  • 1 John 5:5: Now who is the person who has conquered the world except the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

  • Acts 5:31: God exalted him to his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.

  • 1 Peter 3:22: who went into heaven and is at the right hand of God with angels and authorities and powers subject to him.

  • John 2:4: Jesus replied, "Woman, why are you saying this to me? My time has not yet come."

  • Matthew 21:24: Jesus answered them, "I will also ask you one question. If you answer me then I will also tell you by what authority I do these things.

  • Mark 1:25: But Jesus rebuked him: "Silence! Come out of him!"

  • John 5:35-38: He was a lamp that was burning and shining, and you wanted to rejoice greatly for a short time in his light. "But I have a testimony greater than that from John. For the deeds that the Father has assigned me to complete - the deeds I am now doing - testify about me that the Father has sent me. And the Father who sent me has himself testified about me. You people have never heard his voice nor seen his form at any time, nor do you have his word residing in you, because you do not believe the one whom he sent.
