Description

No soldier would fight a battle in a war without weapons or armor, why would a Christian soldier be any different?

This is split into two verse sets, Spiritual Warfare and Spiritual Armaments

Verses

  • 2 Corinthians 10:4: for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down strongholds. We tear down arguments

  • Ephesians 6:17: And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

  • Hebrews 4:12: For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, piercing even to the point of dividing soul from spirit, and joints from marrow; it is able to judge the desires and thoughts of the heart.

  • Revelation 12:11: But they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives so much that they were afraid to die.

  • Revelation 13:12: He exercised all the ruling authority of the first beast on his behalf, and made the earth and those who inhabit it worship the first beast, the one whose lethal wound had been healed.

  • 2 Corinthians 6:7: by truthful teaching, by the power of God, with weapons of righteousness both for the right hand and for the left,

  • Ephesians 6:11: Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil.

  • Ephesians 6:13: For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand.

  • Ephesians 6:14: Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,

  • Ephesians 6:15: by fitting your feet with the preparation that comes from the good news of peace,

  • Ephesians 6:16: and in all of this, by taking up the shield of faith with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.

  • 1 Thessalonians 5:8: But since we are of the day, we must stay sober by putting on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet our hope for salvation.

  • Proverbs 30:5: Every word of God is purified; he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him.
