Verses

  • Matthew 6:33: But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • Luke 9:23: Then he said to them all, "If anyone wants to become my follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow me.

  • 1 John 2:15-16: Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him, because all that is in the world (the desire of the flesh and the desire of the eyes and the arrogance produced by material possessions) is not from the Father, but is from the world.

  • Romans 12:2: Do not be conformed to this present world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may test and approve what is the will of God - what is good and well-pleasing and perfect.

  • 1 Corinthians 15:58: So then, dear brothers and sisters, be firm. Do not be moved! Always be outstanding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

  • Hebrews 12:3: Think of him who endured such opposition against himself by sinners, so that you may not grow weary in your souls and give up.

  • Mark 10:45: For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."

  • 2 Corinthians 4:5: For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your slaves for Jesus' sake.

  • Proverbs 3:9-10: Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled completely, and your vats will overflow with new wine.

  • 2 Corinthians 9:6-7: My point is this: The person who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the person who sows generously will also reap generously. Each one of you should give just as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, because God loves a cheerful giver.

  • Acts 1:8: But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest parts of the earth."

  • Matthew 28:18-20: Then Jesus came up and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
