Description

This is a set of verses centered around the topic of work, to keep you motivated in your daily walk with God during your work or career and to remind you to keep faithful to God and that you ought to work as though you were working for God and not men.

Verses

  • Colossians 3:23: Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people,

  • 1 Corinthians 10:31: So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.

  • Ecclesiastes 9:10: Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, because there is neither work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave, the place where you will eventually go.

  • Proverbs 16:3: Commit your works to the LORD, and your plans will be established.

  • Proverbs 22:29: Do you see a person skilled in his work? He will take his position before kings; he will not take his position before obscure people.

  • Ecclesiastes 5:12: The sleep of the laborer is pleasant - whether he eats little or much - but the wealth of the rich will not allow him to sleep.

  • Proverbs 20:13: Do not love sleep, lest you become impoverished; open your eyes so that you might be satisfied with food.
