I agree with the admonition which you made, in the description of this verse set. It is a constant tendency among people (and among Christians) to give glory to ourselves. But God is the Almighty. We are less than specks of dust by comparison. I knew a pastor once who said to me, "Start every day in humility."

Humility is definitely a good way to start each day; I'll definitely keep that in mind.
