I would like to use the NIV / NLT / NKJV / other version...

NIV

The NIV licensors, Hodder & Stoughton, require a significant minimum payment before they'll allow us to use that version, which would be not viable for LearnScripture at this point in time.

NKJV

The NKJV publishers, Thomas Nelson, won't allow the use of that translation for free in any apps.

NLT

Our request to use the NLT has been turned down by the NLT publishers. This is out of the control of the authors of NLT themselves, because of the agreements they have with the publishers.

Other

If there are other versions you would like, please contact us. However, it always depends on getting the agreement of translators/copyright holders, and we have to wait for their timing too!

Other services

The site memverse.com has a larger user base and offer a much larger range of versions. The workflow and interface for learning are quite different from on LearnScripture.net, but obviously work for a lot of people.
