I think it’s because I began with an easy passage but definitely a lovely one, Psalm 23.

I had John 3 :16 in my list and it still took me well over the year to get my first verse fully learnt. 😂

I struggle more with individual verses because I cannot remember the reference, so I am bound to forget the beginning of the verse. It’s definitely going to take me longer to master the ‘ I am’s of John ‘

Yes I find passages much easier than individual verses. I’m trying to not add any individual ones now.
