Thanks, Joosep. I am not quite sure if I have found the best method for long form memorization, but I am trying. I do like this site, though. Very, very helpful.

I think it's safe to say, it takes a little time, trial and error, to find which method works best for each individual. But in the meantime the journey is a great blessing :)

Our church is studying the spiritual disciplines right now, and I thought it might be interesting to try and memorize and entire book of the Bible. What I find most surprising about it is how the work you do memorized and reciting flows out into the rest of your day. I have forced it sometimes, but there are also times where it simply flows and feels as natural as can be, and I believe that is how we were made... to delight in the Word of God.
