If one does not add many verses, then it can be very useful for solid scripture memory; for example, for any verse presenting a problem, you can use the practice option while reviewing, and keep repeating that verse until you have it down cold. You can also press the Back button on your browser and review the passage again. In that case you have to tick the check-box "Test instead of read". You can keep repeating the passage until you have it down cold. You can also use the "Progress" page to find the passage in question and practice it before it comes due. In my opinion, the problem comes in when people add a large number of verses and then find it difficult to manage them. Consider that scenario, I agree with you. This site has a learning curve, with respect to learning how to use it in the best way. But the most important thing, after all, is to draw near to God through His word, to love Him, to allow Him to teach us and change us through His Word. I wrote that in a big hurry this morning. I will try to clarify: If one adds only one verse a day, or maybe 3 per week, it's quite doable that this site can help you attain solid scripture memory. If a person adds a lot more verses, then he or she will need to put some thought into how to manage everything :) That's what I meant when I said I partially agree, partially disagree All in all, I want to commend you for being here and putting in the time which enabled you to reach ten million.
