Thanks Joosep! I had some extra time today to learn a new set of verses, but my overall game plan includes learning 1 new verse a day, like taking a vitamin. I agree with you as well that this site is awesome and has been a tremendous blessing in my life since I started it 3 weeks ago. I've been trying to encourage my church "The Church in DeKalb" and others but they have been wavering in their consistency. Digging into God's word and applying it to our hearts and minds, really makes a significant difference. I pray more join this site to further edify themselves in their walks with the Lord. Yes, I too pray that more people will join this site and others like it. People think it is too difficult to memorize, but actually it's not as difficult as thought, in my opinion. And besides that, just the process of trying to memorize a verse is already a great blessing -- as we attempt to memorize, we think more slowly and reflectively about God's Word. In my opinion, it's a valuable spiritual discipline.

By_Grace_alone: feel free to come and join us on the "Leaderboard Group for everyone" if you want. Fun to see your progress along with the progress of others and "have some company" along the way. Glad you´re enjoying your "daily vitamin" - I agree with you about that, but this is the first time I´ve managed to stick with it over a longer period of time.

"A daily vitamin"! I love that thought. And yes Joosep I agree, just the act of trying to memorise, it like meditating on God's word. I've found it such a huge help. I enjoy the leaderboards too. It's nice to see other's progress. :)
