Getting there! It'll take me a while to catch up to JDJDJD though. I'm finding it very interesting and helpful to be learning a whole gospel straight through.

How far have you come in Luke now?

Nearly finished chapter 10! I'm up to the Good Samaritan--an easy bit! The challenge will be to keep it up while we're away. Sometime I need a period of quiet when I can reflect on it all. Learning the whole gospel you get a point of view that doesn't come across when you read it in bits--the repetitions and the emphases are different. And there are verses that I'm sure were never there before. Like the one about the prophets longing to see the things that you see. I thought that was only in 1 Peter. And treading on scorpions. I thought that was only in the longer ending of Mark.

And how are you clocking up so many points?

With difficulty! But Luke 1 is long and I want to make it to Luke 2 by Christmas :-)
