Bible Verse quiz for this Friday
This set includes the verses that we will be quizzed over in the week of 4/14/2021. Verse 9: Means when we are saved as ("since the day we heard it", it being the Gospel) should pray for the nonsaved that they might know God, and have understanding in their spiritual journey. Verse 10: Continues the prayer that they will make positive steps forward in their spiritual walk. Verse 11: Also continues what we should pray for in our and other's spiritual walk.
Although in context the verses are directly referring to the time in which Paul (and Timothy) are writing the letter to the church of Colossae, however, this is also something we should do as Christians. Not only should we pray for others to be saved, but also specifically for the development of their faith. We commonly disregard praying for other's faith due to emotions, however, we must not act on these emotions. Will there be people who you hate? yes, but we still must choose to love them and pray for them. This can be applied to anyone, some examples are friends, family, employees, boss, president, world leaders, etc. Although we may not agree or like someone, we as Christians still must show Christ's love and compassion to everyone throughout our lives.

Choose a verse (or a few verses). For long passages, you should create a 'passage' verse set.
Selection set
Selection verse sets are verses on a certain topic, or designed for a group of people to learn together.
Passage set
Passage verse sets are for a continuous set of verses, like a Psalm or a chapter or part of a chapter.
When you are learning a passage set, you're always presented with the verses in order, and there are lots of tweaks to help you learn it as a passage rather than just a set of verses.
Catechisms are a question/answer method of learning Bible truth. While we don't think they are on a level with the Bible itself, they can be a very useful way of learning the truths the Bible teaches in a systematic way, and they fit well into the system LearnScripture uses for learning verses.
