"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." (Jeremiah 33:3, KJV), say's our loving God, but his Word also says, "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (James 5:16, KJV) This shows the we can also share our prayer requests with fellow brethren, whether for forgiveness or other. In this group, you don't have to be personal, but if you would like, put one out there. It never hurt when more people prayed.

Treeswallow, I've been through moments like this. I pray for your friend, that they will give up on herself, and reach out for the Savior. Like the woman who had had a hemorrhage for 12 years, and no one could cure her, and she was at the end of herself. But after only touching the fringe of His garment, she was healed. After that, Jesus called her His daugher. Luke 8. I know, I know that healings are not always immediate like this one in Luke. But I pray earnestly that your friend will reach out and touch even the hem of his garment.
