Thanks Joosep. It seems to be a problem with Safari. I've switched to Chrome and its working fine now. So T-Rey should be invited now and Kentish-Maid. I'm sure there were more people waiting to be added so if anyone can remind I'll be happy to add them.

Dear JDJDJD, I'm not experiencing that glitch. To demonstrate that, I invited you to my own private group. Did you get an invitation?

To invite you, I hovered over the box that has the list of the members (on the Edit Group screen) and started typing your username. Your username was found by the autocomplete function, and then I clicked Save Group.

Hmmm so the way to invite new folk seems to have changed. Anyone know how to add a new member now? All I can get is a list pf members but no idea how to add a new one. 🤔

Working on these verses every day has a very positive effect on my life. God is so very good. What comes to my mind at this moment, is to say, that whoever we are, let us all, as we work on our verses, go to Him with humility and give everything to Him.

The key to all this is not so much to memorize, as it is to love Him with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength.

I agree with your use of the word "treasure". I had to take a three-hour bus ride yesterday, and I spent it listening to the Bible in order. I read somewhere that audio Bibles are usually about 75 hours long. So I started at the beginning a few weeks ago and have been listening almost every day, intending to go all the way to the end of Revelation and then start over again.

Anyway, that's how I felt too, that it was a treasure I was listening to, and made the bus ride a very positive experience.

Yes Mrs Spooner there are 4 versions. KJV, NIV, ESV, AND MSG. The first three of those have several voices to choose from. I’m pretty sure you can get a weeks free trial. I certainly used it about 6 months ago then didn’t want to pay so I stopped. But then I was really looking for an app where I could listen to a passage over and over Without having to keep pressing replay, and I knew this one did it. I’d be happy to hear of other apps as I’ve subscribed for a year but it is expensive and I’m sure there must be a cheaper way. But on the other hand, it’s probably a small price to pay to fill our hearts with such treasure. I’ll look into Biblestudytools.com.
