And i apologize if I have offended anyone who is around the age of 12. I mean nothing negative about 12 year olds. I just believe that I should be showing the maturity of a 17 almost 18 year old and not the maturity of a 12 year old. Just thought of that after I posted my last one.

When it comes to college, I look first at doctrine, history, leadership, majors, and alumni. I have visited several colleges, and I feel lead to Ambassador Baptist College in Lattimore, NC. ambassadors.edu is the website. The doctrine is sound in both Bible and music. The history is clean with great preachers on it’s past. Leaderships is found in the Bible and then preachers and evangelists, some of which are personal friends of mind. Majors are minded for those that want to go into the ministry, and there is an evangelist major, that is kinda hard to find, and I’ve been encouraged by evangelist friends to go. My parents are alumni of ABC, and as I look at the life and ministries of other alumni, I see that ABC is not wavering.
That is why I am going to that college LORD willing.
Treeswallow, I know what you’re feeling when you say that you’ll miss your friends. My siblings are already starting to miss me. I have several good friends that might be going to different colleges and I’ll miss them. Just follow God’s will and who knows, you might make some friends at college.
They are mainly called that in the USA. Evangelist is actually a biblical term. Pretty much someone that preaches the Gospel as Carla said. Here in the USA, Evangelists travel around and have meetings in churches where there is a lot of promoting, visitation, and such like.
Evangelism is going out and share if the Gospel to people, wether it be doorknocking, tract passing, or preaching in small crowds.
I am a pastor kid in small town Iowa, USA. I have felt God calling me to being an evangelist since I was 15. I’m 17 now and will be attending College next fall where I’ll get a good foundation and better knowledge of the Bible. If you would pray for me as I follow God’s call in my life, that would be great.
