Matthew 1:20: When he had contemplated this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary as your wife, because the child conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 2:12: After being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they went back by another route to their own country.

Matthew 3:17: And a voice from heaven said, "This is my one dear Son; in him I take great delight."

Matthew 5:14-15: You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden. People do not light a lamp and put it under a basket but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

Matthew 7:8: For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

Matthew 8:7-8: Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him." But the centurion replied, "Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof. Instead, just say the word and my servant will be healed.

Matthew 9:16: No one sews a patch of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment and the tear will be worse.

Matthew 10:16: "I am sending you out like sheep surrounded by wolves, so be wise as serpents and innocent as doves.

Matthew 11:6: Blessed is anyone who takes no offense at me."

Matthew 12:40: For just as Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish for three days and three nights, so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Matthew 13:10-11: Then the disciples came to him and said, "Why do you speak to them in parables?" He replied, "You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

Matthew 14:13: Now when Jesus heard this he went away from there privately in a boat to an isolated place. But when the crowd heard about it, they followed him on foot from the towns.

Matthew 15:36: he took the seven loaves and the fish, and after giving thanks, he broke them and began giving them to the disciples, who then gave them to the crowds.

Matthew 16:26: For what does it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but forfeits his life? Or what can a person give in exchange for his life?

Matthew 17:27: But so that we don't offend them, go to the lake and throw out a hook. Take the first fish that comes up, and when you open its mouth, you will find a four drachma coin. Take that and give it to them for me and you."

Matthew 18:19: Again, I tell you the truth, if two of you on earth agree about whatever you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

Matthew 19:14: But Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me and do not try to stop them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

Matthew 20:16: So the last will be first, and the first last."

Matthew 21:12: Then Jesus entered the temple area and drove out all those who were selling and buying in the temple courts, and turned over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves.

Matthew 22:21: They replied, "Caesar's." He said to them, "Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

Matthew 23:12: And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.

Matthew 24:42: "Therefore stay alert, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

Matthew 25:35: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

Matthew 25:36: I was naked and you gave me clothing, I was sick and you took care of me, I was in prison and you visited me.'

Matthew 26:39: Going a little farther, he threw himself down with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me! Yet not what I will, but what you will."

Matthew 27:46: At about three o'clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

Matthew 28:20: teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
