Description
Introductory verses speaking of the action and consequence of becoming God's child according to the Holy Writ.
Verses
-
John 1:12: But to all who have received him - those who believe in his name - he has given the right to become God's children
-
Luke 19:9: Then Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this household, because he too is a son of Abraham!
-
Galatians 3:2: The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard?
-
Galatians 3:5-8: Does God then give you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law or by your believing what you heard? Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness, so then, understand that those who believe are the sons of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time, saying, "All the nations will be blessed in you."
