Isaiah 29:19: The downtrodden will again rejoice in the LORD; the poor among humankind will take delight in the Holy One of Israel.
Psalm 147:6: The LORD lifts up the oppressed, but knocks the wicked to the ground.
Psalm 25:9: May he show the humble what is right! May he teach the humble his way!
Psalm 37:11: But the oppressed will possess the land and enjoy great prosperity.
Proverbs 15:1: A gentle response turns away anger, but a harsh word stirs up wrath.
Psalm 22:26: Let the oppressed eat and be filled! Let those who seek his help praise the LORD! May you live forever!
1 Peter 3:4: but the inner person of the heart, the lasting beauty of a gentle and tranquil spirit, which is precious in God's sight.
Zephaniah 2:3: Seek the LORD's favor, all you humble people of the land who have obeyed his commands! Strive to do what is right! Strive to be humble! Maybe you will be protected on the day of the LORD's angry judgment.
Psalm 149:4: For the LORD takes delight in his people; he exalts the oppressed by delivering them.
