This verse set is about patience.

James 5:7: So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.
James 5:8: You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord's return is near.
1 Peter 2:20: For what credit is it if you sin and are mistreated and endure it? But if you do good and suffer and so endure, this finds favor with God.
Galatians 6:9: So we must not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not give up.
Hebrews 10:23: And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.
Matthew 24:13: But the person who endures to the end will be saved.
Hebrews 6:12: so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherit the promises.
Hebrews 10:36: For you need endurance in order to do God's will and so receive what is promised.
James 1:2: My brothers and sisters, consider it nothing but joy when you fall into all sorts of trials,
James 1:3: because you know that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
James 1:4: And let endurance have its perfect effect, so that you will be perfect and complete, not deficient in anything.
Romans 5:3: Not only this, but we also rejoice in sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance,
Romans 5:4: and endurance, character, and character, hope.
