Verses

  • Matthew 5:11: "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and say all kinds of evil things about you falsely on account of me.

  • Matthew 5:12: Rejoice and be glad because your reward is great in heaven, for they persecuted the prophets before you in the same way.

  • 1 Peter 4:14: If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, who is the Spirit of God, rests on you.

  • Isaiah 51:7: Listen to me, you who know what is right, you people who are aware of my law! Don't be afraid of the insults of men; don't be discouraged because of their abuse!

  • Psalm 31:20: You hide them with you, where they are safe from the attacks of men; you conceal them in a shelter, where they are safe from slanderous attacks.

  • Psalm 37:6: He will vindicate you in broad daylight, and publicly defend your just cause.

  • Matthew 10:22: And you will be hated by everyone because of my name. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
