  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

  • Galatians 6:1-2: Brothers and sisters, if a person is discovered in some sin, you who are spiritual restore such a person in a spirit of gentleness. Pay close attention to yourselves, so that you are not tempted too. Carry one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

  • Matthew 18:15: "If your brother sins, go and show him his fault when the two of you are alone. If he listens to you, you have regained your brother.

  • Matthew 18:16: But if he does not listen, take one or two others with you, so that at the testimony of two or three witnesses every matter may be established.

  • Romans 5:8: But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

  • 1 Samuel 15:22-23: Then Samuel said, "Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as he does in obedience? Certainly, obedience is better than sacrifice; paying attention is better than the fat of rams. For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and presumption is like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the LORD, he has rejected you as king."
