Verses

  • Colossians 1:13-14: He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

  • Colossians 1:15-18: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him - all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers - all things were created through him and for him. He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him. He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.

  • Colossians 1:20: and through him to reconcile all things to himself by making peace through the blood of his cross - through him, whether things on earth or things in heaven.

  • Colossians 2:3: in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

  • Colossians 2:8: Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you through an empty, deceitful philosophy that is according to human traditions and the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

  • Colossians 2:10: and you have been filled in him, who is the head over every ruler and authority.

  • Colossians 2:14: He has destroyed what was against us, a certificate of indebtedness expressed in decrees opposed to us. He has taken it away by nailing it to the cross.

  • Colossians 2:19: He has not held fast to the head from whom the whole body, supported and knit together through its ligaments and sinews, grows with a growth that is from God.

  • Colossians 2:20: If you have died with Christ to the elemental spirits of the world, why do you submit to them as though you lived in the world?

  • Colossians 3:1-4: Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Keep thinking about things above, not things on the earth, for you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ (who is your life) appears, then you too will be revealed in glory with him.

  • Colossians 3:14: And to all these virtues add love, which is the perfect bond.

  • Colossians 3:15: Let the peace of Christ be in control in your heart (for you were in fact called as one body to this peace), and be thankful.

  • Colossians 3:16: Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.

  • Colossians 3:23: Whatever you are doing, work at it with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not for people,

  • Colossians 4:2: Be devoted to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.

  • Colossians 4:6: Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer everyone.
