Description

Verse Test 1 for ED 415 - Adolescent Growth & Development, taken at Pensacola Christian College

Verses

  • Proverbs 3:5-8: Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. Do not be wise in your own estimation; fear the LORD and turn away from evil. This will bring healing to your body, and refreshment to your inner self.

  • Colossians 2:8: Be careful not to allow anyone to captivate you through an empty, deceitful philosophy that is according to human traditions and the elemental spirits of the world, and not according to Christ.

  • 2 Corinthians 10:4-5: for the weapons of our warfare are not human weapons, but are made powerful by God for tearing down strongholds. We tear down arguments and every arrogant obstacle that is raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obey Christ.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

  • Proverbs 1:7: Fearing the LORD is the beginning of moral knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
