• Colossians 1:28-29: We proclaim him by instructing and teaching all people with all wisdom so that we may present every person mature in Christ. Toward this goal I also labor, struggling according to his power that powerfully works in me.

• 1 Peter 3:14-15: But in fact, if you happen to suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. But do not be terrified of them or be shaken. But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess.
  
  
• 1 Peter 1:18-19: You know that from your empty way of life inherited from your ancestors you were ransomed - not by perishable things like silver or gold, but by precious blood like that of an unblemished and spotless lamb, namely Christ.
  
  
• Matthew 28:18-20: Then Jesus came up and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. • 2 Peter 1:20-21: Above all, you do well if you recognize this: No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet's own imagination, for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
