Description

Verses that talk about God being our creator from 14 different books of the bible and 17 different chapters. These are put in the order they are in in the bible, but I'm considering changing the order to favorite verses or verses that have a longer or more direct context of creation.

Verses

  • Genesis 1:3: God said, "Let there be light." And there was light!

  • Genesis 2:4: This is the account of the heavens and the earth when they were created - when the LORD God made the earth and heavens.

  • Deuteronomy 32:6: Is this how you repay the LORD, you foolish, unwise people? Is he not your father, your creator? He has made you and established you.

  • Job 38:4: "Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell me, if you possess understanding!

  • Psalm 139:13-14: Certainly you made my mind and heart; you wove me together in my mother's womb. I will give you thanks because your deeds are awesome and amazing. You knew me thoroughly;

  • Psalm 148:5: Let them praise the name of the LORD, for he gave the command and they came into existence.

  • Isaiah 43:7: everyone who belongs to me, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed - yes, whom I made!

  • Daniel 4:35: All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him, 'What have you done?'

  • Matthew 19:4: He answered, "Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator made them male and female,

  • Mark 13:19: For in those days there will be suffering unlike anything that has happened from the beginning of the creation that God created until now, or ever will happen.

  • Acts 17:24-25: The God who made the world and everything in it, who is Lord of heaven and earth, does not live in temples made by human hands, nor is he served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives life and breath and everything to everyone.

  • Romans 1:25: They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

  • Romans 11:36: For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever! Amen.

  • Colossians 1:16: for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him - all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers - all things were created through him and for him.

  • 1 Timothy 4:4: For every creation of God is good and no food is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

  • Hebrews 11:3: By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God's command, so that the visible has its origin in the invisible.

  • Revelation 4:11: "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!"
