Description
Some of the most commonly-used New Testament verses when speaking or preaching the gospel (approx. 175 in all). Memorize to become more burdened for souls and to become more prepared to share the truth. If it seems like a daunting list, you can remove some of them after reviewing them a few times. A great base for selecting Sunday School verses as well. (Goes with Good Gospel Verses: Old Testament.)
Note: Some of these should be applied, but not interpreted, as gospel verses for today.

Matthew 1:21: She will give birth to a son and you will name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

Matthew 24:35: Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Mark 2:17: When Jesus heard this he said to them, "Those who are healthy don't need a physician, but those who are sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

Luke 12:2: Nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing is secret that will not be made known.

Luke 14:17-18: At the time for the banquet he sent his slave to tell those who had been invited, 'Come, because everything is now ready.' But one after another they all began to make excuses. The first said to him, 'I have bought a field, and I must go out and see it. Please excuse me.'

Luke 14:23: So the master said to his slave, 'Go out to the highways and country roads and urge people to come in, so that my house will be filled.

Luke 15:2: But the Pharisees and the experts in the law were complaining, "This man welcomes sinners and eats with them."

John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was fully God.

John 1:12-14: But to all who have received him - those who believe in his name - he has given the right to become God's children - children not born by human parents or by human desire or a husband's decision, but by God. Now the Word became flesh and took up residence among us. We saw his glory - the glory of the one and only, full of grace and truth, who came from the Father.

John 1:17: For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.

John 1:29: On the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

John 3:3: Jesus replied, "I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God."

John 3:7: Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must all be born from above.'

John 3:14-17: Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

John 3:36: The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God's wrath remains on him.

John 5:24-25: "I tell you the solemn truth, the one who hears my message and believes the one who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned, but has crossed over from death to life. I tell you the solemn truth, a time is coming - and is now here - when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

John 6:35: Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never go hungry, and the one who believes in me will never be thirsty.

Romans 1:17: For the righteousness of God is revealed in the gospel from faith to faith, just as it is written, "The righteous by faith will live."

Romans 1:20: For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes - his eternal power and divine nature - have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.

Romans 3:12: All have turned away, together they have become worthless; there is no one who shows kindness, not even one."

Romans 3:20: For no one is declared righteous before him by the works of the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:23-24: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But they are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Romans 10:9: because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:17: Consequently faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the preached word of Christ.

1 Corinthians 1:18: For the message about the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4: For I passed on to you as of first importance what I also received - that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day according to the scriptures,

1 Corinthians 15:55: "Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"

2 Corinthians 4:6: For God, who said "Let light shine out of darkness," is the one who shined in our hearts to give us the light of the glorious knowledge of God in the face of Christ.
