  • Micah 5:10: "In that day," says the LORD, "I will destroy your horses from your midst, and smash your chariots.

  • Psalm 46:9: He brings an end to wars throughout the earth; he shatters the bow and breaks the spear; he burns the shields with fire.

  • Isaiah 9:7: His dominion will be vast and he will bring immeasurable prosperity.   • Daniel 7:14: To him was given ruling authority, honor, and sovereignty. All peoples, nations, and language groups were serving him. His authority is eternal and will not pass away. His kingdom will not be destroyed.

  • Zechariah 9:9: Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Look! Your king is coming to you: he is legitimate and victorious, humble and riding on a donkey - on a young donkey, the foal of a female donkey.

  • Zechariah 9:10: I will remove the chariot from Ephraim and the warhorse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be removed. Then he will announce peace to the nations. His dominion will be from sea to sea and from the Euphrates River to the ends of the earth.

  • Isaiah 2:4: He will judge disputes between nations; he will settle cases for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nations will not take up the sword against other nations, and they will no longer train for war.

  • Hosea 2:18: "At that time I will make a covenant for them with the wild animals, the birds of the air, and the creatures that crawl on the ground. I will abolish the warrior's bow and sword - that is, every weapon of warfare - from the land, and I will allow them to live securely."
