Description
We can wait patiently for God to fulfill all His promises, or we can lose heart. To lose heart is to panic. I pray that we will all wait patiently and remain steadfast, keeping our gaze solely upon Him for help and support. Note how James compares the patience he desires from us, to the patience of the farmer.

So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains.

You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord's return is near.
