Verses

  • Psalm 1:1-4: How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers! Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the LORD's commands; he meditates on his commands day and night. He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts. Not so with the wicked! Instead they are like wind-driven chaff.

  • Psalm 23:1-4: The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water. He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation. Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me.

  • Psalm 117: Praise the LORD, all you nations! Applaud him, all you foreigners! For his loyal love towers over us, and the LORD's faithfulness endures. Praise the LORD!

  • Psalm 12:6-7: The LORD's words are absolutely reliable. They are as untainted as silver purified in a furnace on the ground, where it is thoroughly refined. You, LORD, will protect them; you will continually shelter each one from these evil people,

  • Jude 1:1-4: From Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and brother of James, to those who are called, wrapped in the love of God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ. May mercy, peace, and love be lavished on you! Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you about our common salvation, I now feel compelled instead to write to encourage you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain men have secretly slipped in among you - men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe - ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

  • 2 Timothy 2:15: Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately.

  • Proverbs 30:5: Every word of God is purified; he is like a shield for those who take refuge in him.

  • Genesis 1:1-4: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was without shape and empty, and darkness was over the surface of the watery deep, but the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the water. God said, "Let there be light." And there was light! God saw that the light was good, so God separated the light from the darkness.

  • Matthew 6:33: But above all pursue his kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

  • Matthew 4:4: But he answered, "It is written, 'Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
