Wealth knowledge from Proverbs

Verses

  • Proverbs 3:9: Honor the LORD from your wealth and from the first fruits of all your crops;

  • Proverbs 8:18: Riches and honor are with me, long-lasting wealth and righteousness.

  • Proverbs 10:15: The wealth of a rich person is like a fortified city, but the poor are brought to ruin by their poverty.

  • Proverbs 11:7: When a wicked person dies, his expectation perishes, and the hope of his strength perishes.

  • Proverbs 12:27: The lazy person does not roast his prey, but personal possessions are precious to the diligent.

  • Proverbs 13:22: A benevolent person leaves an inheritance for his grandchildren, but the wealth of a sinner is stored up for the righteous.

  • Proverbs 14:24: The crown of the wise is their riches, but the folly of fools is folly.

  • Proverbs 18:11: The wealth of a rich person is like a strong city, and it is like a high wall in his imagination.

  • Proverbs 19:4: Wealth adds many friends, but a poor person is separated from his friend.

  • Proverbs 19:14: A house and wealth are inherited from parents, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.

  • Proverbs 22:16: The one who oppresses the poor to increase his own gain and the one who gives to the rich - both end up only in poverty.

  • Proverbs 23:4: Do not wear yourself out to become rich; be wise enough to restrain yourself.

  • Proverbs 28:8: The one who increases his wealth by increasing interest gathers it for someone who is gracious to the needy.

  • Proverbs 28:22: The stingy person hastens after riches and does not know that poverty will overtake him.

  • Proverbs 29:3: The man who loves wisdom brings joy to his father, but whoever associates with prostitutes wastes his wealth.
