• Jude 1:3: Dear friends, although I have been eager to write to you about our common salvation, I now feel compelled instead to write to encourage you to contend earnestly for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints.
  
  
• 1 Peter 1:1: From Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to those temporarily residing abroad (in Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, the province of Asia, and Bithynia) who are chosen
  
  
• 1 Peter 1:2: according to the foreknowledge of God the Father by being set apart by the Spirit for obedience and for sprinkling with Jesus Christ's blood. May grace and peace be yours in full measure!
  
  
• Galatians 2:16: yet we know that no one is justified by the works of the law but by the faithfulness of Jesus Christ. • Titus 3:5: he saved us not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit,
  
  
• Titus 3:6: whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior.
