Description

God's Word tells us that if we are Christ followers, He is making us new.

Verses

  • Isaiah 43:18-19: "Don't remember these earlier events; don't recall these former events. "Look, I am about to do something new. Now it begins to happen! Do you not recognize it? Yes, I will make a road in the desert and paths in the wilderness.

  • Isaiah 65:17: For look, I am ready to create new heavens and a new earth! The former ones will not be remembered; no one will think about them anymore.

  • Jeremiah 31:31: "Indeed, a time is coming," says the LORD, "when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and Judah.

  • Ezekiel 11:19: I will give them one heart and I will put a new spirit within them; I will remove the hearts of stone from their bodies and I will give them tender hearts,

  • Lamentations 3:22-24: The LORD's loyal kindness never ceases; his compassions never end. They are fresh every morning; your faithfulness is abundant! "My portion is the Lord," I have said to myself, so I will put my hope in him.

  • 2 Corinthians 4:16-17: Therefore we do not despair, but even if our physical body is wearing away, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary, light suffering is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison

  • 2 Corinthians 5:17: So then, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; what is old has passed away - look, what is new has come!

  • Galatians 6:14-16: But may I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that matters is a new creation! And all who will behave in accordance with this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on the Israel of God.

  • Ephesians 4:22-24: You were taught with reference to your former way of life to lay aside the old man who is being corrupted in accordance with deceitful desires, to be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and to put on the new man who has been created in God's image - in righteousness and holiness that comes from truth.

  • Colossians 3:9-11: Do not lie to one another since you have put off the old man with its practices and have been clothed with the new man that is being renewed in knowledge according to the image of the one who created it. Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all.

  • Revelation 21:1-3: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had ceased to exist, and the sea existed no more. And I saw the holy city - the new Jerusalem - descending out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying: "Look! The residence of God is among human beings. He will live among them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them.
