This is a great verse set about the fact that no one will take away your joy. You should memorize these verses! They're amazing!

Verses

  • Nehemiah 8:10: He said to them, "Go and eat delicacies and drink sweet drinks and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared. For this day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength."

  • Job 33:26: He entreats God, and God delights in him, he sees God's face with rejoicing, and God restores to him his righteousness.

  • Psalm 2:11: Serve the LORD in fear! Repent in terror!

  • Psalm 4:7: You make me happier than those who have abundant grain and wine.

  • Psalm 45:15: They are bubbling with joy as they walk in procession and enter the royal palace.

  • Psalm 64:10: The godly will rejoice in the LORD and take shelter in him. All the morally upright will boast.

  • Psalm 71:23: My lips will shout for joy! Yes, I will sing your praises! I will praise you when you rescue me!

  • Psalm 97:11: The godly bask in the light; the morally upright experience joy.

  • Psalm 97:12: You godly ones, rejoice in the LORD! Give thanks to his holy name.

  • Psalm 118:24: This is the day the LORD has brought about. We will be happy and rejoice in it.

  • Psalm 119:162: I rejoice in your instructions, like one who finds much plunder.

  • Psalm 126:5: Those who shed tears as they plant will shout for joy when they reap the harvest.

  • Psalm 126:6: The one who weeps as he walks along, carrying his bag of seed, will certainly come in with a shout of joy, carrying his sheaves of grain.

  • Proverbs 17:22: A cheerful heart brings good healing, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

  • Ecclesiastes 2:26: For to the one who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge, and joy, but to the sinner, he gives the task of amassing wealth - only to give it to the one who pleases God. This task of the wicked is futile - like chasing the wind!

  • Ecclesiastes 9:7: Go, eat your food with joy, and drink your wine with a happy heart, because God has already approved your works.

  • Ecclesiastes 11:9: Rejoice, young man, while you are young, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes, but know that God will judge your motives and actions.

  • John 3:16: For this is the way God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

  • Romans 5:2: through whom we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God's glory.

  • Romans 14:17: For the kingdom of God does not consist of food and drink, but righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.

  • 1 John 1:4: Thus we are writing these things so that our joy may be complete.
