Verses

  • Genesis 1:1: In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

  • Numbers 23:19: God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a human being, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it happen?

  • Deuteronomy 6:4: Listen, Israel: The LORD is our God, the LORD is one!

  • Isaiah 6:9: He said, "Go and tell these people: 'Listen continually, but don't understand! Look continually, but don't perceive!'

  • Galatians 2:21: I do not set aside God's grace, because if righteousness could come through the law, then Christ died for nothing!

  • Galatians 3:1: You foolish Galatians! Who has cast a spell on you? Before your eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed as crucified!

  • Galatians 3:2: The only thing I want to learn from you is this: Did you receive the Spirit by doing the works of the law or by believing what you heard?

  • Galatians 3:3: Are you so foolish? Although you began with the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by human effort?

  • Galatians 3:4: Have you suffered so many things for nothing? - if indeed it was for nothing.

  • Galatians 3:5: Does God then give you the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law or by your believing what you heard?

  • Galatians 3:6: Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,

  • Galatians 3:7: so then, understand that those who believe are the sons of Abraham.

  • Galatians 3:8: And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, proclaimed the gospel to Abraham ahead of time, saying, "All the nations will be blessed in you."

  • Galatians 3:9: So then those who believe are blessed along with Abraham the believer.

  • Galatians 3:10: For all who rely on doing the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written, "Cursed is everyone who does not keep on doing everything written in the book of the law."

  • Galatians 3:11: Now it is clear no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous one will live by faith.

  • Galatians 3:12: But the law is not based on faith, but the one who does the works of the law will live by them.

  • Galatians 3:13: Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us (because it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")

  • Galatians 3:14: in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles, so that we could receive the promise of the Spirit by faith.

  • Galatians 3:15: Brothers and sisters, I offer an example from everyday life: When a covenant has been ratified, even though it is only a human contract, no one can set it aside or add anything to it.

  • Galatians 3:16: Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his descendant. Scripture does not say, "and to the descendants," referring to many, but "and to your descendant," referring to one, who is Christ.

  • Galatians 3:17: What I am saying is this: The law that came four hundred thirty years later does not cancel a covenant previously ratified by God, so as to invalidate the promise.

  • Galatians 3:18: For if the inheritance is based on the law, it is no longer based on the promise, but God graciously gave it to Abraham through the promise.

  • Galatians 3:19: Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the arrival of the descendant to whom the promise had been made. It was administered through angels by an intermediary.

  • Galatians 3:20: Now an intermediary is not for one party alone, but God is one.

  • Galatians 3:21: Is the law therefore opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.

  • Galatians 3:22: But the scripture imprisoned everything and everyone under sin so that the promise could be given - because of the faithfulness of Jesus Christ - to those who believe.

  • Galatians 3:23: Now before faith came we were held in custody under the law, being kept as prisoners until the coming faith would be revealed.

  • Galatians 3:24: Thus the law had become our guardian until Christ, so that we could be declared righteous by faith.

  • Galatians 3:25: But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.

  • Galatians 3:26: For in Christ Jesus you are all sons of God through faith.

  • Galatians 3:27: For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.

  • Galatians 3:28: There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female - for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.

  • Galatians 3:29: And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to the promise.

  • Ephesians 1:3: Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms in Christ.

  • Ephesians 3:20: Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,

  • Ephesians 3:21: to him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

  • Philippians 4:6: Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.

  • Hebrews 1:12: and like a robe you will fold them up and like a garment they will be changed, but you are the same and your years will never run out."

  • Hebrews 10:23: And let us hold unwaveringly to the hope that we confess, for the one who made the promise is trustworthy.

  • Hebrews 12:28: So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.

  • James 1:17: All generous giving and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or the slightest hint of change.

  • 1 Peter 3:15: But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess.

  • 1 John 4:8: The person who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

  • Revelation 20:4: Then I saw thrones and seated on them were those who had been given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of the testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. These had not worshiped the beast or his image and had refused to receive his mark on their forehead or hand. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

  • Revelation 20:5: (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were finished.) This is the first resurrection.

  • Revelation 20:6: Blessed and holy is the one who takes part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

  • Revelation 20:7: Now when the thousand years are finished, Satan will be released from his prison

  • Revelation 20:8: and will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to bring them together for the battle. They are as numerous as the grains of sand in the sea.
