Psalm 1:1: How blessed is the one who does not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand in the pathway with sinners, or sit in the assembly of scoffers!

Psalm 1:2: Instead he finds pleasure in obeying the LORD's commands; he meditates on his commands day and night.

Psalm 1:3: He is like a tree planted by flowing streams; it yields its fruit at the proper time, and its leaves never fall off. He succeeds in everything he attempts.

Psalm 1:4: Not so with the wicked! Instead they are like wind-driven chaff.

Psalm 1:5: For this reason the wicked cannot withstand judgment, nor can sinners join the assembly of the godly.

Psalm 1:6: Certainly the LORD guards the way of the godly, but the way of the wicked ends in destruction.

Psalm 9:1: I will thank the LORD with all my heart! I will tell about all your amazing deeds!

Psalm 9:2: I will be happy and rejoice in you! I will sing praises to you, O sovereign One!

Psalm 9:3: When my enemies turn back, they trip and are defeated before you.

Psalm 9:4: For you defended my just cause; from your throne you pronounced a just decision.

Psalm 18:1: He said: "I love you, LORD, my source of strength!

Psalm 18:2: The LORD is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, and my refuge.

Psalm 18:3: I called to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I was delivered from my enemies.

Psalm 18:4: The waves of death engulfed me, the currents of chaos overwhelmed me.

Psalm 18:5: The ropes of Sheol tightened around me, the snares of death trapped me.

Psalm 18:6: In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried out to my God. From his heavenly temple he heard my voice; he listened to my cry for help.

Psalm 23:1-2: The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He takes me to lush pastures, he leads me to refreshing water.

Psalm 23:3-4: He restores my strength. He leads me down the right paths for the sake of his reputation. Even when I must walk through the darkest valley, I fear no danger, for you are with me; your rod and your staff reassure me.

Psalm 23:5-6: You prepare a feast before me in plain sight of my enemies. You refresh my head with oil; my cup is completely full. Surely your goodness and faithfulness will pursue me all my days, and I will live in the LORD's house for the rest of my life.

Psalm 46:1: God is our strong refuge; he is truly our helper in times of trouble.

Psalm 51:6: Look, you desire integrity in the inner man; you want me to possess wisdom.

Psalm 91:1-2: As for you, the one who lives in the shelter of the sovereign One, and resides in the protective shadow of the mighty king - I say this about the LORD, my shelter and my stronghold, my God in whom I trust -

Psalm 100:1-4: Shout out praises to the LORD, all the earth! Worship the LORD with joy! Enter his presence with joyful singing! Acknowledge that the LORD is God! He made us and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!

Psalm 100:5: For the LORD is good. His loyal love endures, and he is faithful through all generations.
