Verses

  • Mark 16:5-6: Then as they went into the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed. But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has been raised! He is not here. Look, there is the place where they laid him.

  • Mark 16:19: After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God.

  • Acts 2:3: And tongues spreading out like a fire appeared to them and came to rest on each one of them.

  • Song of Solomon 2:10-11: The Lover to His Beloved: My lover spoke to me, saying: "Arise, my darling; My beautiful one, come away with me! Look! The winter has passed, the winter rains are over and gone.

  • Matthew 17:2: And he was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and his clothes became white as light.

  • Mark 14:22-23: While they were eating, he took bread, and after giving thanks he broke it, gave it to them, and said, "Take it. This is my body." And after taking the cup and giving thanks, he gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

  • Matthew 26:41: Stay awake and pray that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

  • Matthew 27:24-26: When Pilate saw that he could do nothing, but that instead a riot was starting, he took some water, washed his hands before the crowd and said, "I am innocent of this man's blood. You take care of it yourselves!" In reply all the people said, "Let his blood be on us and on our children!" Then he released Barabbas for them. But after he had Jesus flogged, he handed him over to be crucified.

  • Matthew 27:29: and after braiding a crown of thorns, they put it on his head. They put a staff in his right hand, and kneeling down before him, they mocked him: "Hail, king of the Jews!"

  • John 19:17: and carrying his own cross he went out to the place called "The Place of the Skull" (called in Aramaic Golgotha).

  • John 19:25: Now standing beside Jesus' cross were his mother, his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene.

  • Luke 1:28: The angel came to her and said, "Greetings, favored one, the Lord is with you!"

  • Luke 1:41-42: When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She exclaimed with a loud voice, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child in your womb!

  • Luke 2:7: And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in strips of cloth and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

  • Luke 2:22: Now when the time came for their purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary brought Jesus up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord

  • Luke 2:46-47: After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Jesus were astonished at his understanding and his answers.
