Description
The Sayings of Jesus on the cross (sometimes called the Seven Last Words from the Cross) are seven expressions biblically attributed to Jesus during his crucifixion. Traditionally, the brief sayings have been called "words". They are gathered from the four Canonical Gospels.
Traditionally, these seven sayings are called words of 1. Forgiveness, 2. Salvation, 3. Relationship, 4. Abandonment, 5. Distress, 6. Triumph and 7. Reunion.

Luke 23:34: [But Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing."] Then they threw dice to divide his clothes.

Luke 23:43: And Jesus said to him, "I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise."

John 19:26-27: So when Jesus saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved standing there, he said to his mother, "Woman, look, here is your son!" He then said to his disciple, "Look, here is your mother!" From that very time the disciple took her into his own home.

Matthew 27:46: At about three o'clock Jesus shouted with a loud voice, "Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?" that is, "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?"

John 19:28: After this Jesus, realizing that by this time everything was completed, said (in order to fulfill the scripture), "I am thirsty!"

John 19:30: When he had received the sour wine, Jesus said, "It is completed!" Then he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.

Luke 23:46: Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And after he said this he breathed his last.
