Verses

• James 5:7-8: So be patient, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's return. Think of how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the ground and is patient for it until it receives the early and late rains. You also be patient and strengthen your hearts, for the Lord's return is near.
  
  
• James 5:16: So confess your sins to one another and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great effectiveness.
  
  
• 1 Peter 1:13: Therefore, get your minds ready for action by being fully sober, and set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
  
  
• 1 Peter 3:15: But set Christ apart as Lord in your hearts and always be ready to give an answer to anyone who asks about the hope you possess.
  
  
• 1 Peter 5:6-7: And God will exalt you in due time, if you humble yourselves under his mighty hand by casting all your cares on him because he cares for you.
  
  
• 2 Peter 1:20-21: Above all, you do well if you recognize this: No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet's own imagination, for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
  
  
• Jude 1:20-21: But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith, by praying in the Holy Spirit, maintain yourselves in the love of God, while anticipating the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that brings eternal life.
