2 Samuel 22:2-3: He said: "The LORD is my high ridge, my stronghold, my deliverer. My God is my rocky summit where I take shelter, my shield, the horn that saves me, my stronghold, my refuge, my savior. You save me from violence!
Psalm 28:8: The LORD strengthens his people; he protects and delivers his chosen king.
Psalm 34:8: Taste and see that the LORD is good! How blessed is the one who takes shelter in him!
Psalm 46:1: God is our strong refuge; he is truly our helper in times of trouble.
Psalm 57:1: Have mercy on me, O God! Have mercy on me! For in you I have taken shelter. In the shadow of your wings I take shelter until trouble passes.
Psalm 61:2-3: From the most remote place on earth I call out to you in my despair. Lead me up to an inaccessible rocky summit! Indeed, you are my shelter, a strong tower that protects me from the enemy.
