  • John 1:29: On the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, "Look, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

  • Revelation 5:1: Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written on the front and back and sealed with seven seals.

  • Revelation 5:2: And I saw a powerful angel proclaiming in a loud voice: "Who is worthy to open the scroll and to break its seals?"

  • Revelation 5:8: and when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders threw themselves to the ground before the Lamb. Each of them had a harp and golden bowls full of incense (which are the prayers of the saints).

  • Revelation 5:9: They were singing a new song: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals because you were killed, and at the cost of your own blood you have purchased for God persons from every tribe, language, people, and nation.

  • Revelation 5:10: You have appointed them as a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth."

  • Revelation 5:11: Then I looked and heard the voice of many angels in a circle around the throne, as well as the living creatures and the elders. Their number was ten thousand times ten thousand - thousands times thousands -

  • Revelation 5:12: all of whom were singing in a loud voice: "Worthy is the lamb who was killed to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and praise!"

  • Revelation 5:13: Then I heard every creature - in heaven, on earth, under the earth, in the sea, and all that is in them - singing: "To the one seated on the throne and to the Lamb be praise, honor, glory, and ruling power forever and ever!"

  • Isaiah 53:5: He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed.

  • Isaiah 53:6: All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.

  • Isaiah 53:7: He was treated harshly and afflicted, but he did not even open his mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughtering block, like a sheep silent before her shearers, he did not even open his mouth.

  • Isaiah 53:8: He was led away after an unjust trial - but who even cared? Indeed, he was cut off from the land of the living; because of the rebellion of his own people he was wounded.

  • Isaiah 53:9: They intended to bury him with criminals, but he ended up in a rich man's tomb, because he had committed no violent deeds, nor had he spoken deceitfully.

  • Isaiah 53:10: Though the LORD desired to crush him and make him ill, once restitution is made, he will see descendants and enjoy long life, and the LORD's purpose will be accomplished through him.

  • Isaiah 53:11: Having suffered, he will reflect on his work, he will be satisfied when he understands what he has done. "My servant will acquit many, for he carried their sins.

  • Isaiah 53:12: So I will assign him a portion with the multitudes, he will divide the spoils of victory with the powerful, because he willingly submitted to death and was numbered with the rebels, when he lifted up the sin of many and intervened on behalf of the rebels."

  • Isaiah 11:10: At that time a root from Jesse will stand like a signal flag for the nations. Nations will look to him for guidance, and his residence will be majestic.

  • Isaiah 11:2: The LORD's spirit will rest on him - a spirit that gives extraordinary wisdom, a spirit that provides the ability to execute plans, a spirit that produces absolute loyalty to the LORD.

  • Isaiah 11:3: He will take delight in obeying the LORD. He will not judge by mere appearances, or make decisions on the basis of hearsay.

  • Isaiah 11:4: He will treat the poor fairly, and make right decisions for the downtrodden of the earth. He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and order the wicked to be executed.

  • Isaiah 11:5: Justice will be like a belt around his waist, integrity will be like a belt around his hips.

  • Isaiah 11:7: A cow and a bear will graze together, their young will lie down together. A lion, like an ox, will eat straw.

  • Isaiah 11:8: A baby will play over the hole of a snake; over the nest of a serpent an infant will put his hand.

  • Isaiah 11:9: They will no longer injure or destroy on my entire royal mountain. For there will be universal submission to the LORD's sovereignty, just as the waters completely cover the sea.

  • Ecclesiastes 9:10: Whatever you find to do with your hands, do it with all your might, because there is neither work nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave, the place where you will eventually go.

  • Psalm 119:105: Your word is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path.
