Verses

  • Revelation 11:3-4: And I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth. (These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth.)

  • Revelation 11:5: If anyone wants to harm them, fire comes out of their mouths and completely consumes their enemies. If anyone wants to harm them, they must be killed this way.

  • Jeremiah 5:14: Because of that, the LORD, the God who rules over all, said to me, "Because these people have spoken like this, I will make the words that I put in your mouth like fire. And I will make this people like wood which the fiery judgments you speak will burn up."

  • Revelation 11:6: These two have the power to close up the sky so that it does not rain during the time they are prophesying. They have power to turn the waters to blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague whenever they want.

  • Revelation 11:7: When they have completed their testimony, the beast that comes up from the abyss will make war on them and conquer them and kill them.

  • Jeremiah 11:16: I, the LORD, once called you a thriving olive tree, one that produced beautiful fruit. But I will set you on fire, fire that will blaze with a mighty roar. Then all your branches will be good for nothing.

  • Psalm 52:8: But I am like a flourishing olive tree in the house of God; I continually trust in God's loyal love.

  • James 5:17: Elijah was a human being like us, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain and there was no rain on the land for three years and six months!

  • Luke 4:25: But in truth I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in Elijah's days, when the sky was shut up three and a half years, and there was a great famine over all the land.

  • Zechariah 4:11-14: Next I asked the messenger, "What are these two olive trees on the right and the left of the menorah?" Before he could reply I asked again, "What are these two extensions of the olive trees, which are emptying out the golden oil through the two golden pipes?" He replied, "Don't you know what these are?" And I said, "No, sir." So he said, "These are the two anointed ones who stand by the Lord of the whole earth."
