Verses

  • Isaiah 6:8: I heard the voice of the sovereign master say, "Whom will I send? Who will go on our behalf?" I answered, "Here I am, send me!"

  • Isaiah 9:6: For a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: Extraordinary Strategist, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

  • Isaiah 40:30-31: Even youths get tired and weary; even strong young men clumsily stumble. But those who wait for the LORD's help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles' wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.

  • Isaiah 53:5-6: He was wounded because of our rebellious deeds, crushed because of our sins; he endured punishment that made us well; because of his wounds we have been healed. All of us had wandered off like sheep; each of us had strayed off on his own path, but the LORD caused the sin of all of us to attack him.

  • Lamentations 3:22-23: The LORD's loyal kindness never ceases; his compassions never end. They are fresh every morning; your faithfulness is abundant!

  • Micah 6:8: He has told you, O man, what is good, and what the LORD really wants from you: He wants you to promote justice, to be faithful, and to live obediently before your God.

  • Micah 7:19: You will once again have mercy on us; you will conquer our evil deeds; you will hurl our sins into the depths of the sea.
