Scriptures to use as weapons, for comfort, and encouragement when engaged in spiritual warfare against darkness. For we stand on Gods word but He is the one fighting for us through our faith.

  • Jeremiah 20:13: Sing to the LORD! Praise the LORD! For he rescues the oppressed from the clutches of evildoers.

  • James 1:6: But he must ask in faith without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed around by the wind.

  • Judges 6:12: The LORD's messenger appeared and said to him, "The LORD is with you, courageous warrior!"

  • Psalm 71:20-21: Though you have allowed me to experience much trouble and distress, revive me once again! Bring me up once again from the depths of the earth! Raise me to a position of great honor! Turn and comfort me!

  • Proverbs 21:31: A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but the victory is from the LORD.

  • 1 Peter 4:12-13: Dear friends, do not be astonished that a trial by fire is occurring among you, as though something strange were happening to you. But rejoice in the degree that you have shared in the sufferings of Christ, so that when his glory is revealed you may also rejoice and be glad.

  • 1 John 3:8: The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was revealed: to destroy the works of the devil.

  • Romans 16:20: The God of peace will quickly crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

  • Ephesians 6:10-12: Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power. Clothe yourselves with the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

  • Romans 8:37-39: No, in all these things we have complete victory through him who loved us! For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in creation will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

  • James 1:12: Happy is the one who endures testing, because when he has proven to be genuine, he will receive the crown of life that God promised to those who love him.

  • Hebrews 2:14-15: Therefore, since the children share in flesh and blood, he likewise shared in their humanity, so that through death he could destroy the one who holds the power of death (that is, the devil), and set free those who were held in slavery all their lives by their fear of death.

  • Isaiah 42:13: The LORD emerges like a hero, like a warrior he inspires himself for battle; he shouts, yes, he yells, he shows his enemies his power.

  • Psalm 91:4: He will shelter you with his wings; you will find safety under his wings. His faithfulness is like a shield or a protective wall.

  • Exodus 14:13-14: Moses said to the people, "Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the LORD that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again. The LORD will fight for you, and you can be still."

  • Psalm 18:30: The one true God acts in a faithful manner; the LORD's promise is reliable; he is a shield to all who take shelter in him.

  • Joel 2:1: Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm signal on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land shake with fear, for the day of the LORD is about to come. Indeed, it is near!

  • Psalm 50:15: Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!"
