10 Verses we have to memorize for Christian Discipline

Verses

  • 1 Timothy 4:12: Let no one look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in your speech, conduct, love, faithfulness, and purity.

  • John 3:36: The one who believes in the Son has eternal life. The one who rejects the Son will not see life, but God's wrath remains on him.

  • Genesis 3:15: And I will put hostility between you and the woman and between your offspring and her offspring; her offspring will attack your head, and you will attack her offspring's heel."

  • John 1:12: But to all who have received him - those who believe in his name - he has given the right to become God's children

  • 1 Samuel 16:17: So Saul said to his servants, "Find me a man who plays well and bring him to me."

  • 2 Timothy 3:16-17: Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work.

  • Genesis 1:26-27: Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, after our likeness, so they may rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move on the earth." God created humankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.

  • 1 Timothy 4:7-8: But reject those myths fit only for the godless and gullible, and train yourself for godliness. For "physical exercise has some value, but godliness is valuable in every way. It holds promise for the present life and for the life to come."

  • Psalm 14:2-3: The LORD looks down from heaven at the human race, to see if there is anyone who is wise and seeks God. Everyone rejects God; they are all morally corrupt. None of them does what is right, not even one!

  • Colossians 1:15-16: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation, for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him - all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers - all things were created through him and for him.
