Thanks much Robinshe. And you remember I guess that I went back to using Memverse again for a few reasons, one of which was the ability to use the NASV. I'm a bit embarassed that I've used several different methods; I'd much rather be consistent.
It is also a bit confusing sometimes -- the NASV was the version that I used and my Christian friends used when I first got saved way back when. So the words of that version are in many cases embedded in my mind. But I really like the ESV also.
I'm following a method of going through sections of the Bible in order using an Excel spreadsheet, (currently I'm doing Mark) for my new verses, but I also review something "old" at least once a day. Basically, I've put on the shelf for the time being my very long review queue ....
If anyone else would like to share what kind of approach they take to memorizing Scripture, I'd love to hear it, and I'm sure others would as well.
